Rules

Payment

Payment. I accept Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, and wire transfer (Japan only). All payment will be in US Dollars unless you are in Japan.
Deposit. You are required to pay me half of the total price up front. This deposit is non-refundable.
Final Payment. Upon completion of the project, I will send you a low quality watermarked proof. Once that is approved, you must send me the second half of the payment in order to receive the finished piece.
Refunds. Deposits are non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with the commission, I will try and remedy it with revisions. If we cannot come to a conclusion, we can cancel the commission and I will not ask you for your second payment and you will not receive the finished piece.

Turnaround

Time. Depending on the complexity of your piece and your desired style, I will give you an estimate of the time it will take me.
Updates. I will update you on the status of your commission every day. This update will include a screenshot of my progress. In the event that I cannot give an update, I will notify you before the end of the day.
Delays. In the event that I cannot deliver your project on the agreed-upon deadline, I will notify you as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, we can discuss next steps (cancellation or some other form of compensation).
Cancellation. You are free to cancel the commission at any time. Your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel, I will stop working on your piece and you will not receive anything.

Revisions

Sketch. I can change anything you want in the sketch phase. This is a very important step because once we agree on a sketch, I will not accept any major changes (ex. face shape, pose, etc.). Please make sure you are satisfied with the sketch before approval.
Corrections. If I misunderstand any part of your request/reference, I will correct it for free (ex. hair colour, ear shape, etc.).
Revision requests. You can change 3 things in the lineart phase and one thing in the final render phase. This does not include miscommunications about key character features. These corrections are just personal preference for the commissioner (ex. make the fingers longer, add more sparkles, etc.).

Special Circumstances

Rush Orders. Rush orders are classified by any project that is shorter than my estimated deadline on my prices page. I will charge a rush order fee of $10 or 10% of the commission price, whichever is higher.
Editing and Transformation. Under no circumstance is any other artist allowed to use my work as a base or trace over any part of it without permission. If we end up cancellation a project, please do not bring my WIP to another artist and have them finish it without asking permission first. Once a piece is completed, the client is free to edit / modify it to their liking for graphics or profile photos. I ask that clients refrain from using my art in ways that depict crimes or promote illegal activities.
Age Awareness. I will only work with clients 18 years or older.
Chargebacks and Paypal disputes. If you are unsatisfied with a commission or would like to cancel for whatever reason, please contact me. If you open a dispute via payment provider (credit card chargeback or PayPal), I will not accept anymore requests from you.
Political Issues. I will not accept any project that promotes war / war crimes / hate of any kind. I stand against colonisation in every form and believe in equality and freedom for all people.

Commercial Use, credit

All my commissions are for personal use only unless negotiated otherwise. If you would like to use my work for commercial purposes, please inform me before I start the project.Under no circumstances are you allowed to claim my work as your own. I will provide a non-watermarked version of my pieces to use in banners, avatars, etc. but you cannot say you made it.Here is a list of some (but not all) of the things a personal and commercial license is. If you want to use my work in a way that is not stated in these lists, please let me know before we begin the project so we can discuss what license is appropriate.

Personal License

Use the image on your personal social medial accounts
Post the image on your personal social media accounts
Make your own graphics with the image
Use the image for emojis/stickers on your personal discord server or roleplay community
I am allowed to use the image to promote my own services / portfolio

Commercial license

Use the image on your monetised Youtube or Twitch account
Create merchandise from the image
Post the image on your monetised / corporate social media accounts
Use the image to make graphics for your monetised / corporate accounts
I will not post or use the image on any public platform

Delivery

Delivery of the final product can be done via email or direct messages on your desired app. I will send a low quality proof of the completed project with my watermark and once I receive full payment, I will send the high quality version.My standard delivery package includes 1 PNG file and 1 watermarked PNG file. For Chibis I will also send 1 transparent PNG file. If you want any extra versions (ex. timelapse workflow from sketch to final) please tell me before I begin working on the project. Depending on the additional materials, there may be an additional cost. Timelapse videos can be provided free of charge.
